Wine Country - the perfect getaway!
My husband and I are huge wine enthusiasts! We absolutely love to explore the incredible and diverse world of wine, which I never knew was so vast and large! I came from a world where I thought that sweet wine was the only option, until I discovered the breathtaking experience of wine country. Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley are both so fun, yet they each offer their own unique and delightful experiences!
This last weekend, we spent four glorious days in Sonoma, where we were able to enjoy exploring some of the wonderful wineries of which we are proud members, and we also savored fine cuisine at a variety of exquisite restaurants in the area. My all-time favorite spot now has to be the charming Healdsburg Square. It is not only cute and quaint, but it also boasts an array of fun shops, inviting bars, delightful restaurants, and various tasting rooms just waiting to be explored.
If you have never been, you must stop a J Vineyards Winery. We attended their annual pink party and had an amazing time!
AMAZING food, delightful bubbles, and captivating entertainment filled our enchanting evening! We met the most incredible people and also had the wonderful opportunity to chat and enjoy quality time with familiar faces we had not seen in several months. The staff at J Vineyards is absolutely exemplary and consistently provides the finest service imaginable. J Vineyards is a must-see destination every time we visit! Be sure to check out the Bubble Room and indulge in their delicious bubbles paired with the most delectable and amazing dishes you could ever imagine.
We also experienced a truly delicious dinner that included an exceptional fine wine and food pairing at the renowned Jordan Vineyard and Winery. The food was not only exquisite but meticulously prepared, featuring local ingredients that beautifully complemented their most delicious wines. Both the carefully chosen wine pairings and the entree decisions were perfectly meshed together, creating a harmonious experience for a memorable and perfect evening!
Aside from these two magical events, we had the incredible opportunity to experience the most amazing pizza ever at the Sonoma Pizza Company, a delightful place where they used only the finest natural and local ingredients to create exquisite culinary masterpieces! We indulged in a variety of dishes, including delicious pizza, fresh salad, and their delectable garlic cheesy bread, all of which left us feeling completely satisfied and utterly in awe of the flavors. We cannot wait to return and explore their other enticing dishes on the menu, as we know there is so much more to discover and enjoy!
We concluded our delightful stay at the charming Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza, perfectly situated in the picturesque Healdsburg Square. This quaint little hotel offered an inviting classic hotel feel, beautifully complemented by a cozy, homey ambiance that left you yearning to unwind in your comfortable and meticulously decorated room. Just outside the front doors of the hotel, a world of enchantment awaits as you can explore a myriad of tasting rooms, delightful shopping options, exquisite dining experiences, and a stunning park at the center, which our beloved puppy, Zachary, truly enjoyed. We wholeheartedly recommend taking the time to check out charming destinations like Forestville, Healdsburg Square, and all the unique and fun shops that populate the plaza.
While our unforgettable trip has officially drawn to a close, we are eagerly beginning the booking process for our next adventure to this incredible area.
